Delete your account. In the app, or by email.

In the app

1. Tap your avatar, at the top of the screen, to open your profile.
2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
3. Choose whether this phone keeps your data or erases it too, then type DELETE to confirm.

An email confirms your request and the date of the deletion.

By email

You no longer have the app, or can no longer sign in? Write to [email protected], from your account's email address, with the subject "Account deletion" and your username.

• Verification: to make sure the request comes from you, we reply to the account's address, and you confirm by answering that message. We never delete an account at the request of another address.
• Timing: we schedule the deletion within 30 days of your confirmation, at most. It then follows the same steps as in the app.

What happens

• Right away, your account is deactivated: your other devices are signed out, your public profile (pep.fit/your-username) and your posts disappear, and your coaches' and AI connections' access stops.
• 30 days later, your account and all your data on the server are permanently deleted: workouts, measurements, photos, posts, shares, AI connections and their log. An email warns you 7 days before, and a last one confirms the deletion.
• Changed your mind? Sign in again with your email before that date: the deletion is cancelled and your account comes back as it was. Conversely, the app also lets you erase everything right away, without waiting 30 days.
• Backups: an encrypted copy stays in the server's backups for at most 8 weeks after the deletion, then disappears by itself. Nobody looks at it.

What remains

• On your phone: your data stays there if you chose to keep it. Uninstalling the app erases it.
• With no link to you: the anonymous "Improve accuracy" contributions (2 years), the sign-in totals per day and per region, and the Whoop member fingerprint if you had connected Whoop (deleted on request to [email protected]). None of this can be traced back to you.
• With the services you connected (Whoop, Withings, your AI's provider…): what they have already received stays with them, under their own rules.

Delete only some data

Without deleting your account, you can delete a workout, a measurement, a photo or a post in the app, stop a share or a connection, and erase everything from your phone (Profile, Data and privacy). The deletion reaches the server at the next sync. You can also ask for it at [email protected].
